Hi Community members,

After 2 months of pre-staking, we’ve finally completed the snapshot of staked $TXA, reached over 500k $TXA staked, and released a claim page (https://stake.txa.app/claim) to allow users to claim their $TXAD balance.

Since the release, we’ve ran into a hiccup and released a new token contract as a resolution. Please see below for FAQs surrounding the new contract and join us tomorrow for an AMA on our Telegram with Jae Yang to learn more: https://discord.gg/dPVwg4V4Jg.

1. Why a new contract?

The previous contract did not include unvested $TXA amounts and so the total supply and amounts were not accurately calculated. We want to make sure that users have their full amount of $TXA and to ensure this, we’ve decided to create a new contract instead. The new token contract effectively makes the previous contract invalid.

New token address is: 0xF490d4eA1626b683413dc9f7a5449C537f709941

2. What if I already claimed $TXAD?

If you are one of the few individuals that already claimed $TXAD using the old address, we will be reimbursing gas fees spent during claiming as well as providing a reward when you burn the old $TXAD. Please note, that $TXAD from the old token contract will not be valid for anything in the future.

3. If I already claimed $TXAD, is my claim amount affected?

Your claim amount is unaffected! You will just need to reclaim the entire amount of $TXAD using the new token contract.

**4. What if I haven’t claimed my $TXAD?**

If you haven’t claimed your $TXAD, please proceed to the claim website: https://stake.txa.app/claim, connect your wallet and, follow the onscreen instructions to claim your $TXAD. There is no further action on your part!

5. What happens in relation to voting on DAO?

$TXAD from the old contract will not be valid for DAO voting. Only $TXAD from the new token contract (0xF490d4eA1626b683413dc9f7a5449C537f709941) will be able to vote.

6. What happens now?

Once you’ve claimed your $TXAD from the new staking contract, just sit back and relax. We’ll be announcing some new initiatives, coming soon.
